SFA's Oxford Platinum Event - May 14th 2010
This May sees the birth of an event that has been in the making for some time now: SFA's Platinum Event, a PGM conference hosted by SFA (Oxford) Ltd in the historic city of Oxford and attended by some of the most senior players in platinum supply, end use and investment from around the world today.
On May 14th, attendees of this event will be treated to a day of presentations given by some of the most influential academics in the field of platinum group metals. This year, the focus will be on the effects that economic and political factors are having on the current and future PGM industry, with particular cognisance given to the politically-dynamic areas of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Russia.
Conference speakers will offer a unique perspective on the subject in which they specialise, with those in attendance party to an in-depth exploration of some of the key elements impacting on the political and economic worlds of PGMs.
After the conference, our guests will be treated to dinner and a tour of the historic streets of Oxford, stopping off for a drink in some of the more famous pubs the city proffers.
On the following day (15th), SFA is offering its guests the chance to unwind with a day of golf at the luxurious Frilford Heath Golf Club. Players will be able to relax whilst competing in a few friendly competitions aimed at both beginners and experienced golfers alike.
Places are still available for this special event which promises to offer some stimulating debate between key individuals in the PGM industry on a whole host of subjects. If you or your company wish to attend on May 14th, please contact Kate Sankey for further details.
