Wenlin gathers and analyses market intelligence from her native China regarding emissions legislation, policy evolution, the automotive industry, jewellery and recycling.
Wenlin also provides vital statistical analysis, modelling and “what if” scenario generation on key end-uses and recycling activities. She developed a sophisticated model on recycling, utilising distribution curves and price elasticity, and is responsible for SFA (Oxford)’s global jewellery and Monte Carlo price simulation models.
China has become the world's largest car consumer, as well as the major buyer of platinum jewellery. She is also SFA (Oxford)’s link to China-based clients and information providers and assists with marketing activities to potential Chinese clients. Prior to joining SFA (Oxford), Wenlin read mathematics at St Hilda’s College, Oxford.
