September’s diesel share of new car sales in the region is confirmed at 29.0%. Data for October, with three small markets estimated, suggest a figure of 31.3% leading to a YTD achievement of 32.1%, very close to that seen in September. Three markets returned a diesel share slightly higher than a year earlier (Austria, Germany and Norway) while a total of eight experienced a rise in diesel sales volume from a YoY standpoint.
