The Oxford Platinum Lectures 2026

Friday 15th May

Save the Date — Friday 15th May

The Oxford Platinum Lectures 2026 will bring together leaders from every stage of the platinum group metals and critical minerals landscape. With a rich history of informed debate and independent thought, the Lectures have long served as a trusted meeting place for the global PGM community. This annual event provides a platform for producers, refiners, fabricators, end-users, investors, and policymakers to examine the strategic forces shaping PGM and critical mineral markets, technology pathways, and shifting geopolitical dynamics. It offers a rare environment where producers, industrial users, investors, policymakers and innovators can engage in open discussion grounded in evidence, clarity and long-term thinking. Participants value the opportunity to step back from day-to-day pressures and consider the broader shifts that influence investment, operational resilience and the direction of future applications.

PGMs continue to underpin advances in clean energy, low-carbon transport, chemical processing and high-reliability manufacturing, supporting innovation across multiple industrial frontiers. As new applications gain momentum and long standing markets evolve, the industry faces questions that extend far beyond supply and demand. Geopolitical uncertainty, resource security concerns and evolving policy frameworks are now central to strategic decision-making. Decisions made today will impact investment, resilience and environmental outcomes for decades to come. These Lectures are designed to support that conversation with insight, rigour and strategic perspective.

We invite participants from across the value chain to join us in examining the pressures and opportunities that define the next chapter for PGMs, helping shape a more coordinated industry outlook. Your experience and judgement are central to this dialogue. Alongside the Lectures, the Annual Golf Day on 16 May provides an additional opportunity to strengthen relationships and continue discussions in a more informal setting. Together we can build a clearer view of what is achievable, what is required and where collaboration can bring meaningful progress.

Please reserve Friday 15 May 2026. Further details will follow in due course. We warmly welcome expressions of interest in attending or supporting the Lectures, and encourage you to contact the organising team so we can keep you in the loop as the programme materialises.
