The Oxford Platinum Lectures 2025

Friday 16th May

Navigating the uncertainties of tomorrow's platinum market

In an environment characterised by low prices, strategic decision-makers face tough challenges in managing the industry downturn, the evolution of powertrains, Trump's tariffs, China’s impact on the PGM markets, opportunities in new technology, and recycling. The Oxford Platinum Lectures brought together major players to discuss Tomorrow’s Platinum Playbook and address the complexities and uncertainties shaping the future of PGM markets.

Drawing from experts across the PGM value chain, including Sibanye-Stillwater, Valterra Platinum, Northam Platinum, WPIC, Porsche Consulting, GlobalData, and Ospraie Asset Management, and with interactive Q&A sessions, the event featured insightful lectures and stimulating debates.
